Please only apply if your organization fulfills one of our funding areas. Your application will not be considered if it does not. Do not apply directly to the Foundation for the Krier College Scholarships.
Applications by eligible organizations are accepted online between January 1 and February 28. All applicants will learn of the Foundation’s funding decisions in May. Organizations with approved applications will also receive a Grant Agreement, which must be returned to the Foundation in order to receive funding.
To Apply
The Foundation provides and online form for eligible applicants to complete and submit.
To assist you in complete the online form we provide an information sheet that includes the questions, specific data, and materials you will be expected to provide when submitting your application. You are strongly encouraged to download this information sheet, prepare your answers and assemble the necessary attachments before you apply.
With your application, you will be required to submit the following materials in PDF format:
Attachments:
- IRS Determination Letter
The letter your organization received from the IRS when you applied for nonprofit status - Organization’s CURRENT Year Operating Budget
Must show complete expenses including amounts budgeted for administration and fundraising. - Project Budget
Must show total cost of project and anticipated contributions from other sources. - List of Board Members
Must include their city of residence, place of employment, and work title. - Latest Audited Financial Statement or 990
If your organization is not required to produce an audit, submit your 990.
Reporting
Organizations that receive a grant must submit a Grant Report by the date stated in the notification letter to be in good standing to receive future grants from the Krier Foundation. Learn more about grant reporting.
Acknowledgements
Organizations that receive a grant from the Bruce Krier Charitable Foundation should acknowledge the Foundation’s generosity by displaying a plaque as specified by the Foundation.
